We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team working full time, and alternate weekends.
These are full days from approximately 9.30/10am through to 6.15/7.15. This is a permanent post, with an immediate start. You must be fully flexible all week.
Additional hours are worked during non term time or to assist us in covering staff holidays too.
You should be an experienced Cook, who thrives working in a fast paced environment and is an ideas person, have worked with Safer Food Better Business and possess a level 2 Food Hygiene certification, or be willing to obtain this. You must be quick to learn, be able to give direction to staff assisting you and be adaptable to changing environments.
Someone who also loves to be customer facing would be ideal. You should be able to organise your time efficiently, and have experience of baking and decorating cakes as the majority of our cakes are homemade.
Experience in the use of an EPOS system and card payments would be advantageous, as would experience of working in a coffee bar setting also as you may be required to work on here from time to time.
